Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, like your preferences and login status.
We also use similar technologies like local storage and session storage for similar purposes. When we refer to "cookies" in this policy, we include these related technologies.
How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for several purposes:
Essential Cookies
Sartorly does not set a cookie to keep you signed in. Your login session is kept in your browser's storage by Firebase Authentication (see Local Storage below). Without it, the Service cannot work properly.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service. We use this information to improve our product and user experience.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics - distinguishes users | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics - keeps the state of your visit | 2 years |
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember how you left the app.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sidebar_state | Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open | 7 days |
Marketing Cookies
Sartorly does not set advertising or marketing cookies.
Managing Cookies
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:
- Block all cookies
- Block third-party cookies only
- Delete cookies when you close your browser
- Receive a warning before cookies are stored
Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from working properly.
Opt-Out Links
You can opt out of the analytics cookies:
Third-Party Cookies
The analytics cookies above are placed by Google. When you subscribe, checkout and billing happen on pages hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies there. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to the respective privacy policies of these third parties:
Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use local storage to store information on your device. Local storage is similar to cookies but can store larger amounts of data and doesn't expire automatically.
We use local storage for:
- Your login session (Firebase Authentication)
- Display preferences, such as light or dark mode
- The company and store you last worked in
- The look you are working on in the studio, until you close the tab
- Access to a password-protected lookbook you have unlocked
- A referral code, if you arrived through a referral link
You can clear local storage through your browser's developer tools or settings.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
